Graduated Freshman Level!

Woo hoo :) I graduated the Freshman level at PSPU :)
I actually passed my exam a few weeks ago but I have been extremely busy with another education facility called PSP Academy, hence why I haven't been able to update my blog.

I have just finished the PSPA exam & I'm currently waiting to hear from them to see if I have graduated the Beginners level or not. Fingers crossed :)

I am about to start the Sophomore level at PSPU, which I am quite excited about :) Wish me luck :)

I have also started another blog called Digital Scrap Designz :) Pop on over & have a look. I am quite excited with all the knowledge I am gaining from working with PSP & hope that it will lead me & my new business venture to success :) I can't tell you all the details yet, but I can tell you that it has something to do with digital scrap kits & the like. So pop on over to my Digital Scrap Designz blog & add your email address to my mailing list. When I have finalized my first Scrap Kit freebie, I will email you & let you know when it becomes available :)

Till my next post, please keep well & don't forget to say "Hi" so that I can return the visit. Then come on over to check out Digital Scrap Designz :) See you there :)

Here's Some Love From Me to You!

Hi everyone,
Today has been a busy but yet an enjoyable day :) However, the highlight of my day was when I finally found some personal time to play with my PSP :)

I completed the next 2 lessons at PSPU today which were:
- How to do vertical text
- How to use other effects (ripple, pattern & brush stroke).

I created the above tag using the wave & Mosaic Glass effect. It was alot of fun & I thoroughly enjoyed putting my new knowledge of PSP to work :) I created it especially for you :) Please feel free to take it for yourself. Its my gift to you. Maybe you know someone that needs a little love in their life? Show them you care & offer a little love by sending them this tag. You can share it around groups too for snags if you like. I am happy to share :) All I ask is that you provide a link back to my blog & to let me know you came to visit by saying hello :)

Visit again soon as I'm sure there will be another special little gift waiting for you :)

Take care everyone,
Lisa

A PSP Victim!

I have been learning alot at PSP University. Since my last post, I've completed the following lessons:
- How to add a frame to a tag
- How to add text on a curve
- Reversed text on a curve
- Text on a path

With the 'text on a path lesson' I had to create another tag but this time I had to incorporate everything that I had learnt in previous lessons & roll them into one. The text on the tag had to be on a 'path' that I drew. As you can probably tell by the above tag, I am totally loving my new hobby lol. I'm telling ya, this stuff is excellent & ooohhh so addictive! :)

If you have been wanting to make graphics & putting it off, seriously, you should join the PSP University. Its amazing how much you learn in such a short time & its alot easier than it looks! Plus there are instructors that help you every step of the way. One of my instructors is Sally. She has been amazing! Actually, I would like to take this opportunity to say
"Thank You very much Sally for helping me out when I have needed it. You are a gem!! Anytime you wanna visit Australia, feel free to give me a yell" :)

Go check PSP University out.

Thanks for reading & hope you come back soon.
Don't forget to leave me a message to let me know you were here :) I would hate to think that I'm talking to myself lol.
Take care

My PSP Adventure

Hi everyone,
It has been a few days now since I have downloaded PSPX2 & I love it already! I joined a few PSP yahoo groups so that I can learn more about it & start

creating some beautiful images. The groups that I joined are:
PSP University, PSP Learning Tree & PSP University Club House.

I started doing some lessons at PSPU yesterday & I amazingly got 1 intro & 4 lessons completed. During these lessons I learnt the following:
- How to save as a jpeg or psp image
- How to create a background using effects
- How to create a background using art media
- How to use patterns to create a background
- How to make text match a tube or graphic

I was up playing til 2am this morning. I thoroughly enjoyed myself :) My next lesson is - Adding a frame to your tag. I am looking forward to creating my first tag :) When I have finished it, I will post it on here.

I know that the many of you that visit my blog will have a great knowledge of PSP & have probably been creating graphics for years, good on you :) Therefore, you are probably reading this & thinking "wow she really is a beginner" lol. Yes you are totally right :) However, my goal is to eventually make Scrapkits & the like. In fact, let me ask you a few questions & please feel free to leave your replies in the comments section.

Do you create your scrapkits in PSP or another program?
Also, do you know of any tutorials that show how to do it?
Any other input would be great..such as: How did you start out making scrapkits?

I will look forward to your replies :)
Take care & have a fabulous weekend.

A Whole New World

Hi there everyone,
Wow! Talk about learning & doing something totally different.
Today I decided to start my own blog & I really didn't know what I was getting myself into lol. I have been sitting in front of this computer nearly all day. I'm amazed that I squeezed in feeding my family lol. Oh well, guess what kids...Mum has found a new hobby :)

I downloaded PSP today. It has a 30 day trial & I can't wait to use it. I want to discover the world of tubing, making graphics for websites & also scrapbook kits etc. I am an absolute beginner so if anyone out there has some ideas or advice that could lead me into the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it :) Thanks :)

Anyway, back to it.
Feel free to pop in and say hi :)
Take care & come back soon.
